Jemima Puddle-duck in the farmyard

The tale of a gullible duck!

Jemima Puddle-duck is not the smartest fowl in the farmyard.

Upset that the farmer keeps taking her eggs, she leaves, only to find refuge with a "Gentleman" (a fox, in fact, not even in sheep's clothing) who intends to eat more than her eggs!

This sophisticated charmer is fattening Jemima up for slaughter under the pretense of providing her a healthy environment to raise her young. Thank goodness for Kep the collie dog, who hears what's going on and makes sense of it. He and his canine pals chase off the fox and escort hapless Jemima back to the farm, where the farmer consents to let her hatch and keep a few ducklings of her own.
